What does neck finish mean?

The neck finish is the measurement of the opening and threads of a container where the closure is attached to. The container and closure must have matching neck finishes in order for it to fit and seal properly.

The neck finish can appear as a two-number set, like 24-400 or only as one number, like 58 mm. A neck finish of 24-400 means the outer diameter of the opening is 24 mm and 400 refers to the thread style, which in this case means that the cap only needs one complete turn to be fully tightened. See the chart below for some common thread styles.

When is my credit card charged?

For blank product, your credit card will be charged as soon as the order is processed. (You will receive an email when that occurs.) If there are any issues (ex. out of stock) you will receive an email outlining these issues and the possible solutions (ex. an additional weeks wait). If you approve, we will proceed with the order and process your payment. If not, we will cancel the order and your card will not have been charged.

What file formats do you accept?

We require vector artwork in files such as AI, EPS, PDF, or CDR. Zip files are also accepted, as long as they contain vector artwork. We cannot print from raster images like JPGs, PNGs, or GIFs.

My artwork is a raster image. How do I convert it to vector?

Adobe Illustrator can convert raster images to vector by using the live trace function. Inkscape is a free vector based software that can also achieve the same result.  We can provide the service of converting raster images to vector at $80/hr. This is purely on a case to case basis as some raster images are too complex or too low resolution to convert to vector.
